People Don't Plan to Fail, They Fail to Plan

How is it that 48 million Americans have no insurance or underinsured? This alarming number comes from a census from a company called LIMRA, Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association, that scared me. I am trying to get the word out about insuring yourselves without being called on by every online insurance company giving you a quote. To be honest, these quotes are based on perfect people. People with the best health, right age group, and right weight. These commercial also upsets me with this statement,"you can get 500K of term life insurance for $12.00 a month." Why don't they ever state that it for only 10 yrs. My mom got suckered into purchasing a policy like that, and when it was time for a renewal, her premium went through the roof. People if you can, review a website called, www.amiunderinsured.com , it is audio enhanced so you can listen to the presentation and you can purchase an e-Book that allows you to calculate the right amount of insurance you'll need to protect you and your family. This website also gives you an opportunity to get a monthly newsletter free for a year about financial issues affecting society today. Just something to check out.
